Requirements For Membership

Good physical health,

live in or near our fire protection district,

be at least 18 years old,

be able to give three hours a week towards training.

If you are interested in being a part of the fire department, we can find a way to get just about anyone involved. Harrods Creek F.D. is 50% volunteer, though considered a combination paid/volunteer department because we have some paid personnel who staff the stations from 8AM-8PM and one 24 hour crew of 4. Most of these paid members also respond on fire runs after their normal work hours. There is always something that needs to be done in an effort to constantly improve upon the service we provide to the community.    Contact Assistant Chief Jamie Schwab, to see what you can do to help!
