If you are interested in being a part of the fire department, we can find a way to get just about anyone involved. Harrods Creek F.D. is at least 70% volunteer, though considered a combination paid/volunteer department because we have some paid personnel who staff the stations from 8AM-5PM during the week and one 24 hour crew of 4. Most of these paid members also respond on fire runs after their normal work hours. There is always something that needs to be done in an effort to constantly improve upon the service we provide to the community. The Harrods Creek Fire Department also has a Non Resident Firefighter (NERF) program for individuals who are interested in volunteering for the department, but live outside of the district. Contact Jodie Imel, Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, to see what you can do to help!
